前言
考研英语二国家小分线为42分左右，有三个部分是一定可以得分的，分别是完型填空、翻译和写作。对于基础比较弱的考生，这三部分分别得分：
完型填空全选A也可以得3分，但如果要5分，可能得花非常多的时间精力。
翻译有越来越难的趋势，除了积累词汇以外，最基本的语法句型需要学习好，这部分通常也可以拿5分以上。
写作不低于13分（5+8），小作文格式重点、字数要求低，句式较固定，背好模版可得5分以上。大作文梳理好各图片需要用到的模版句子，再加一些套话，得分过半亦不难。
写作得分高低是可以通过学习来完成，而且效果也远比较完型、翻译明显。

一、英语二小作文特点
特点1：重格式，不轻内容
应用文的大作文的一个很大区别就是重格式，规律性强。格式和套路不对，一般会给阅卷老师留下很不好的印象。例如：信件一般不需要题目，通知和告示却需要，如2010年的题目Volunteers wanted。不只是题目，还有客套话以及署名等。例如：公务信函中的称呼，一般而言，如果是不认识的人，称呼为敬词+尊称；例如，Dear Sir or Madam；如果是写给关系正式的某团体中的具体人，称呼为敬词+尊称+名。例如：Dear Mr. xx或Dear Ms. xx；对于关系较亲密的人可以直呼其名（Dear）Peter等，这都是有规律可循的。
特点2：轻思想，重交际
这里所谓的轻思想，主要是指因为100字的应用文，除去那些客套话，其实一般主体部分也就2-3个句子就可以解决。这么短的篇幅，是不可能要求思想性有多强。这点和大作文不一样，大作文中，如果你没有一定的思想深度，文章结构会很松散，让人感觉是句子的堆砌。而那种连贯性和衔接手法的应用也不会太准确。而小作文，我们要做到的只是注意用词语体以及语域的适当性，要点覆盖的全面性，不需要华丽的语言辞藻。
特点3：字数少，易得分
上面我们提到了，应用文的篇幅很短，这使得我们很容易得分。试想，如果想在阅读理解中得到10分，你需要在理解一篇500-600字的文章的基础上答对5道选择题。从这个角度而言，小作文的确是容易拿分的部分，应该特别值得我们去注意，小作文只要能注意以上几点内容，不出现严重的错误，一般能拿到8分左右。
二、英语二小作文建议及类型
写作建议：
1.注意固定格式，请勿标新立异。
2.首段开门见山，描述清楚写信意图。
3.首尾段格式可以完全套用下列模板中的句子。
4.中间段题目要求的所有信息都需要涉及到，一个都不能漏掉。
5.拼写不出来的单词尽量用简单词汇替代，切勿出现严重词汇和语法错误。
