Dear Teacher:
宝山区2023年教师招聘信息With wide spread of digital technology at present, teachers have given home assignment online, offline or by both. After mulling over these three measures, I highly recommend offline one with following reasons.
Assigning homework by Internet can potentially cause negative impact on students’ physical health and study momentum. According to online survey, students’ screen use time for entertainment lasts over an hour a day on average. Doing homework online adds extra hour on using electrical devices, and thus, puts more pressure on eyesight issues. In addition, cyberspace contains massive alluring information although some may be related to study. When required to open a cellphone or a computer, students find it hard to resist the temptation of going straight towards what attracts them.
On the other hand, offline assignment can bring academic benefits to students. Up to now, all exams require examinees to write on test paper with hand not with keyboard, which asks for their capability of beautiful writing. Daily handwritten homework doesn’t only help them practice this required skills but also prevent them from forgetting spells.
