教材分析
本课是第四单元第一课时，听说课。主要谈论学生生活中常见的一些问题以及如何给出建议，内容贴近学生生活，很容易引起学生的共鸣。
学情分析
 
  八年级的学生已经有能力说出自己的想法，在之前的学习中也已经接触过关于提建议的句型。而且本节课的内容和学生的日常生活息息相关，很容易调动学生的兴趣。

熟练运用下列句型

Ability goal
(1)能使用What’s wrong ?来询问对方遇到的问题。
(2)能使用Why don’t you…? You should do---.You could do---.”给出有效的建议
(3)能听懂有关话题的语段，并能就话题进行简单交流，做到语音、语调基本正确、自然、流畅。
Moral goal
通过学习使学生明白，生活是有两面性的，我们有很多快乐，也会遇到很多的麻烦，但是我们可以通过自己的努力去解决困难，使生活变得美好。战胜困难，我们也会变得越来越强大。

学生能够听懂老师的指令、简单的对话，利用听力策略在听力活动中学会利用关键词获得所需信息
能用Why don’t you…/Why not…句型、情态动词could/should给出建议
利用目标语言进行几个话轮的对话、角表演

Step 1 :Warm up
课前欣赏歌曲“Trouble is a friend”
T:Do you like the song? It’s called“Trouble is a friend” Today we”ll talk about troubles and advice.
并板书troubles and advice
借助歌曲热身，营造英语氛围，并在歌曲欣赏中自然的带入trouble and advice这一主题。 
Step2 : leading-in
 观看视频“The troubles of students”。生动形象的展现在生活中学生常见的问题，too much homework, too many tests, too many after-school classes等等极具感染力的动画画面短时间内就激发了学生的学习兴趣。
 通过视频导入主题，生动直接，且能够激发学生兴趣。
Step 3 :Presentation
用The troubles of students的视频导入今天的新课，展示students’ problems等问题的图片，示范句型：Look at the picture,“What’s the matter with the boy?”----“He...”；呈现并领读allow to hang out with friends，get into a fight witt my best friend等新知识, 并用两个小游戏来调动学生的积极性巩固新知。
在语境中呈现新知，将学生带入英语学习的情景中去。做好词汇及语句的支架，为学生接下来的听说练习做好语言铺垫。

操练新知以便学生在语言输出环节能更灵活准确表达。
Step 5:Listening
活动一、出示听力图片引导学生猜测“Is she happy?  What’s wrong with the girl?”
播放录音 并根据学生完成听力情况调整听力次数
看图片做听力猜测，读1a句子做好听力准备，核对答案。
活动二、fill in the blanks
再次听力，补全朋友给出的建议。
重视听力策略的训练
活动二的设计一方面是根据学生的水平对听力材料难度进行的调整，另一方面也是为了让学生继续感知问题与建议这一话题。
Step 6:Group work
If your classmates have some troubles, can you give them some advice? Try to give advice in groups. 并进行总结给出建议的几种方式。
小组合作讨论问题并给出恰当的建议，利用小组的作用，调动学生的积极性。
Step 7 :pair work
T： There is something wrong with me . can you give me advice?
T: Now it’s your turn. Work in pairs to make a new conversation
从师生对话过渡到生生对话，进行目标语言的操练。
Step8： Listening
Show the picture lead in the listening 2a、2b
Look at the picture and guess“What’s the matter with Peter?”
Read the advice that Peter’s friend gives him and the reason why Peter doesn’t like the advice
Do listening and Check the answers.
通过导入听前活动，做好听力准备，进行听力训练。
Step9：Role play
Show the advice and reason to students, ask students to retell the story in role play.
复述听力，强化听力训练的同时强化语言知识的应用

情感升华：
Whatever problems you meet, whenever you meet them, don’t be afraid. Don’t complain
too much. Just try hard to solve them. Believe that you can do anything if you try your best. Overcome the problems, and you’ll be more and more powerful.
与课堂开头的歌曲trouble is a friend相融合，首尾呼应，将德育自然的渗透到课堂中，起到了良好的教育意义。

学情分析：英语四级听力
八年级的学生已经有能力说出自己的想法，在之前的学习中也已经接触过关于提建议的句型。八下Unit1 What’s the matter？单元学习过如何询问别人的问题，并且学习过用should给出建议。七下学习过What about…?/How about…?句型给出建议，这是学生在学习本单元的知识前所具备的知识储备，而且本节课的内容和学生的日常生活息息相关，很容易调动学生的兴趣。
效果分析：
1.教学主线清晰、连贯，重难点突出。教师能够把握课堂教学trouble and advice这一主线，围绕教学目标设计和展开活动，重难点突出，语言知识的操练有针对性。
