“两会”的英文全称是the annual sessions of the National People's Congress （NPC） and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference （CPPCC），外媒往往将其简称为Two Sessions。
初级护师考试历年真题及答案早在2018年，有的英文媒体在报道中国两会时，就开始直接使用它的汉语拼音“lianghui”。今年3月1日，彭博社的报道说：Together， they're known as the Lianghui， or “Two Sessions.”值得注意的是，彭博社不仅使用了“两会”的汉语拼音，而且把首字母大写，俨然把它当作了一个专有名词。
英文网站的“Two Sessions”词条也特别提到它的汉语拼音：The Two Sessions （NPC & CPPCC National Committee annual sessions）， or in Chinese Lianghui is a common Mandarin Chinese abbreviation for a pair of organizations which have close relations.
