5. Composition:
- Proper development of the topic: 5 points;
- Use of logical organization and appropriate expression: 5 points;
- Grammatical accuracy: 5 points;
- Adequate vocabulary and proper use of idiomatic expressions: 5 points.
6. Error Identification:
- Correct identification of each error: 1 point each.
7. Writing:
- Organization, coherence, and logical development of the essay: 10 points;
- Adequate vocabulary and proper use of idiomatic expressions: 10 points;
- Grammatical accuracy: 10 points;
- Proper paragraphing and punctuation: 5 points.
The total score for CET-4 is 710 points. Each section has different weightings towards the total score, with Listening Comprehension and Reading Comprehension each accounting for 30% of the total score, and the remaining sections accounting for 40%.
