Every day when I came home from school, my mother would pick me up without hesitation. As soon as I got home, I turned on the lamp and began to do my homework. This time. 暑假的一天，我去姑姑家玩，远离了妈妈的白开水。我想，我可以尽情的喝饮料了。我跑进了超市，选一堆好吃的就去了姑姑家。这天过去了，等到第二天，我玩的口干舌燥，这时候我想到了那些饮料，然而，看到了那些饮料，我却觉得没有味道。
晚上，我无意打开了一张报纸，看着上面尽然写着“每天晚上睡前一杯白开水，有利于健康。”看到这儿，我的眼睛湿润了。一颗颗如珍珠的眼泪从我的眼角落下来了。这个时候我才明白为什么妈妈每天晚上都会坚持给我一杯白开水，为什么不送牛奶、果汁了。妈妈的爱是平淡的，但是却包含了妈妈对我的关心。
